The Crowne Compact Urn Vault for Box Burial - Gray is designed to contain a single box-shaped cremation urn such as the temporary container provided by many funeral homes. Vaults are required by many cemeteries when an urn is intended for ground burial.
A water-tight adhesive is provided to seal the urn within the vault. Many cemeteries require the use of a vault to protect the urn from the elements and possible damage from heavy cemetery equipment.
This urn vault is made of a high-tech polymer to maximize strength and durability. Polymer construction also ensures that the vault will not corrode or deteriorate over time. Under testing, the Crowne Compact Urn Vault for Box Burial - Gray was able to withstand 6,300 pounds of top load pressure. The color is a mottled gray.
