Description
Intricate engraving on the Platinum Elegance Tealight Urn catches the light in this small cremation urn plus memorial candle holder. A detailed design in gold is engraved over a pewter background on the Platinum Elegance Tealight Urn. A hidden compartment inside can hold a small amount of remains and can be accessed by unscrewing the top. Once the compartment is closed, the glass votive holder -- along with candle -- is placed in the recessed area of the top. This tealight urn is part of the Platinum Elegance Collection that includes an adult cremation urn as well as a small keepsake urn.
 
Due to their small size, tealight cremation urns are considered keepsake urns. Many people use keepsake urns to share a loved one's cremated remains among several family members. Others use a keepsake urn to keep a small portion of ashes after the rest has been scattered, buried, or placed in a columbarium.
 
The ceremony of lighting a candle with a loved one in mind can be a comforting ritual after such a loss.

Tealight urns sometimes are not filled but simply displayed next to the matching adult size urn and used for lighting a candle in memory of the person. This small urn with candle has a 14 cubic inch capacity (will hold approximately one cup of ashes).
